I have called a few Vodaphone/Optus stores around Sydney and seems the 16GB version is sold out. Has anyone heard when they will have more stock, or does anyone know where i can get one, preferrably on a Vodaphone contract?

It looks like the 16GB will be unavailable for another two-three weeks.
If you're REALLY keen, you might be interested in our site.
You can pick one up outright, and put it on any contract you like.
